Institute for Scientific Interchange Foundation

The ISI Foundation, Institute for Scientific Interchange, was e
stablished in 1983 by the Regione Piemonte. Its core mission is the 
promotion of scientific research within the international cooperation, 
fostering the creation of research groups and of innovative and 
interdisciplinary labs, with a special focus on the science of complex 
systems and networks, social computational sciences, computational 
epidemiology and data science. 

Politecnico di Torino

The Politecnico di Torino is a leading institution in Italy and in Europe in the field of technical-scientific training, in Engineering and Architectural research. 2009 marks the 150th anniversary of Politecnico di Torino's foundation and its long-standing  tradition has been the basis for the reputation it enjoys today as one of the leading technical universities in Italy and throughout the world. In fact according to Jiao Tong University's league table, we are in 7th place in Europe for engineering studies, and come first in Italy for internationalization and for technical studies according to league tables compiled by Vision and Censis.
 

Sapienza Università di Roma

With 700 years of history and 145.000 students the University of Rome is the first University in Europe and the second in the world, after the University of Cairo. La Sapienza consists of 23 faculties with 10000 employees, half of which
teaching staff.


Università degli Studi di Genova

The University of Genoa is an academic institution founded in the XII century, located in the heart of Genoa with branches in several cities of Liguria. It consists of 11 faculties with 125 bachelor level courses and 90 master level courses. UniGE ranked 5th out of 65 in the top public Italian Universities ranking published by the Ministry of Education in July 2009
